Unfortunately, our dear and beloved Christ the Redeemer appears completely wrong in the MSFS 2020 1.38.2 version. Could it be an altimetry problem? I hope Asobo and Microsoft take steps to correct this error.

Hello @wgcl1976,
Do you have any third-party scenery add-ons installed, for example the South America Mesh by Orbx? This add-on is known to cause issues with World Update 19, including showing the Christ the Redeemer statue incorrectly.
If you are using this add-on, please try temporarily disabling it to see if that resolves the issue.
Thanks,
MSFS Team
That issue has been reported and was fixed with WU19: New install - christ the redeemer melted
Make sure you have installed World Update 19 from the marketplace.
No external altimetric sceneries.
I did update 19 for Brazil: the result remains the same, unfortunately…
It’s a great shame for me! Sorry…
Just tested and no issue in #msfs-2020:
Could you double check your Marketplace and content manager if you see the same ?:
Also, if you are using the rolling cache, delete or disable it.
Restart the sim.
Interesting indeed.
I still did not see any update on W19 in my area in Europe(for US Eng, language setting)?
And I launch after visit in the Forum at least 6days out of seven the MSFS 40th anniversary edition V1.38.2.0 on my PC.
I experienced incompatibility between ORBX SA Mesh and WU19(also Rolling Cache deleted as Restart):
I just can hope someone might be working on it

, I believe this will take some time, but would like to see a Term of Guarantee for something I purchased a month ago. And where I am there are legal rules to this indeed.
Now same screenshot without ORBX SA Mesh installed(Rolling cache deleted):
I do run MSFS 1.38.2.0 on PC as Xbox X(same language settings: US Eng), same results.
A friend of mine has different language settings in same country, same store, identic failure together with ORBX and W19. Also Updates are mostly same in time frame.
Other things do happen when different MS Store is chosen, also depends where is licensed the OS, in my case W11.
All issues caused by or involving third-party addons/mods should be reported to the third-party developer. Assure that no addons/mods are used when reporting issues in Bug Reports.
Hi,
I did !!!, ORBX send me following to my request a couple of days later after a couple of mails:
Imagine, I will not spend a single Dollar anymore on ORBX after this kind of a reply.
This is a general conversation to my sense.
With the bug.
If you are on PC, could you try to start the sim in safe mode to discard that a 3rd party addon is not causing a conflict ? (it will disable your community folder and Marketplace addons): to achieve that, once into the sim, go to your Windows Task manager, terminate msfs.exe and restart the sim. You’ll get the safe mode prompt option.
