Copacabana and Ipanema are calling, and so we’re off for a slow flight around Rio de Janeiro. I’ll be using the excuse to fly the Curtiss JN Jenny, but any sightseeing plane will work.

- There are a few more Rio scenery packs on flightsim.to, but I found they fixed things like rock formations at the cost of ugly trees. Feel free to give them a try if you’d like, although I’ll be flying without.
- Bushtalk Radio POIs. These POIs are also on the website, if you’d like to use the Bushtalk Client while you fly around.

Airplane: Curtiss JN-4 Jenny; or similar slow (~55kt) plane like the Volocopter or Icon A5. A glider is also potentially an option.
Weather: Overcast (I found other weather settings had enormous thermals, big enough for a glider I suspect)
Liftoff Time in Sim Time: 11:30am (1:30pm UTC), although the city is very pretty at night
Rough flight path: SBRJ rwy 20R->SBGL, clockwise around mountains to the west. Start near sea level, then climb to 2500’ before Christ the Redeemer statue
