‘After one year without gaming I now enjoy flying MSFS2020 one more time. The Cessna 172, the Diamond dv20, Beechcraft Baron and Pilatus are all aircraft which are great to fly, because they provide this realistic and aerodynamic correct experience. So far I have encountered only one disappointment,and this is about the CIRRUS SR22.
The plane deviates to the left (bank, roll) in such a degree that it is just about impossible to fly. It happens just after take off and this deviation cannot be explained by wind force, propeller effect, or whatever. It does not seem to be a normal bug to me - its just a kind of idiosyncratic behaviour, causes unknown. By the way, I have not tried to trim it away, as it did not seem right to me, and I probably would not have been able to do so.

I read something about the subject in this forum and learned about an x-box player whose aircraft (all of them, I mean to recall) made strong left deviations, which could not be compensated for by any trimming procedure. I also learned about a PC simmer who experienced the same behaviour (strong tendency to turn left) and who solved the problem by reinstalling the entire program!
I do not wish to go through that again, as in my case there is only one aircraft affected(so far?) - the Cirrus. I have done updating regularly during the last year, but never flew the whole year through, so I cannot tell which update might have been the cause.

I suspect a corrupt file somewhere. I have the Asobo-aircraft-sr22 directory, and a lot of files inside - could it be possible to download “working” sr22 files and delete the present ones?

It is a strange kind of bug. I experienced the strong deviation to the left during both online and offline flying, with a TM1600 flight stick and also the TM HOTAS flightstick, and honestly I doubt there will be a reasonable explanation. However, I posted it under “bugs” because it definitely is a ‘bugeous’ behaviour.

Well, as I enjoy all the other aircraft mentioned maybe I should not complain. However my first flight aircraft in MS2020, about 6 years ago, was the Cirrus SR22. I struggled with it for days to get it airborne - and stay there - until I found out about changing the flight mode - so there exists an old relationship, I guess, between me and the SR22. Could it be restored?

You probably need right rudder trim to counteract p-factor in the climb.

This is exactly the situation that requires right rudder.
