Cirrus SR22 Fuel Gauge Markings are inconsistent and incorrect

Brief description of the issue:

The gauge markings show 26 gal per side, but the panel label beside the gauges says 40.5 gal usable per side, which is inconsistent. The POH from the Cirrus web site dated 2021-11-09
states that the useable amount is 46 gal per side, or 92 gal total. The Weight and balance page shows the fuel capacity as 40.5 gal per side, which matches the panel label, but is inconsistent with the gauge markings and the POH. I think all three should be changed to 46 gal per side, or 92 gal total to match the POH.

I’ve only just come across this. I believe they should all be 40.5. I have a POH here that lists total useable as 81 USG. I think the 46 per side comes from a later model or perhaps even the turbo.
I’m guessing this one is based on the 40.5 per side variant and as such it’s only the gauge that is incorrect.

If looks like whoever did this got lazy or just plain forgot to change the gauge later because that is the fuel gauge from the C172. The needle doesn’t even move across the whole scale. It certainly needs fixing.

Personal Comments and Observations

I concur the 81 gals is correct. This is not the Third Gen SR-22 which received a fuel capacity upgrade.

The cirrus is a great aircraft - I’ve been fortunate to fly a few. It remains unloved in the sim, which as the worlds best selling GA aircraft, is a shame
and somewhat of a mystery! Hoping that 2024 brings a big upgrade and much needed fidelity to this brilliant aircraft.

Oo-er missus. Mine shows correctly:

Something’s happened recently though; the power gauge no longer shows the redline area and I can go over 2700 rpm without any warnings.

Now that is weird. Any mods that might fix that installed?

Who, me? No, just bog-standard.
