Thank you, greyeagle72, issue solved, see my comments to Sling 380.
Yes I saw that too. I think it must be a mistake and in fact should say DIM instead of TRIM. Glad you got it working anyhow.
Hello Sling380, in the meantime I managed to increase the brightness of the PFD and MFD, great. Only, these ideal settings are gone the next time you start a new flight. You have to laboriously reset them again. Any idea? Any modification of any .ini file?
Another question: I installed the mod “working title G3000”. Now the zoom setting “range” knob, which is on the AP panel just above the center map monitor, is no longer working. Previously, you could comfortably adjust the magnification of the map using this “range” button while having direct sight to the map monitor.
With the G3000 mod this knob doesn’t work anymore. You can only adjust the magnification on another “range” button, which is far below on the power pedestal. But then, while adjusting zoom, you lose sight of the map monitor to check the ideal magnification. Another good idea?
I haven’t noticed the dim levels not being persistent but it may well be as you described. I’ve therefore no suggestions on how to correct that. The G3000 mod MFD map zoom is the GTC knob if I remember correctly. I’ve never known the other zoom knob to function. This is likely because I’ve always had the G3000 mod. They are working on an update for thst so I suspect things like that may improve.
