When I go to load into the Career mode, I have purchased the Cessna Citation Longitude, and when I go into Free Flight, I can set the livery to whichever livery that I want. I purchsed the livery pack, but after changing the livery in Free Flight mode. No matter what I do in Career mode. It will not load a livery on the plane. I even tried to purchase the plane brand new, and it still shows as a white plane. See screenshot below. Anyone have any thoughts on this? I have repaired, verified, uninstalled/reinstalled. Rebooted, etc. And the issue remains.
Post title and content were edited for typos and to remove references to X. The Cessna Citation X (C750) by FlightFX is not available in Career Mode. The user is making references to the stock Asobo/Working Title/Lakshya Cessna Citation Longitude (C700), as verified by the screencapture.
I figured out that this is an issue on Microsoft’s end. I deleted the folder in at appdata/local/microsoft.limitless that sync’s your saved career data. The only way to fix this as far as I can figure out is to reset my career. With 284 flights, and just over 100,000 NM flown. I guess I get to have a white plane.
Well, finally figured out the issue by using Copilot and a bit of drilling down into what I’ve purchased. The entire issue was a livery pack I purchased from 4SIMMERS called Citation Livery Pack. The second, I uninstalled and disabled that. The “stock” liveries came back. Now, do I still wish that we could change our liveries? Yes. Yes, I do. However, it is nice to see a non-white plane flying through the air. Yes, it sure is.
As of now, I don’t believe you can change the livery in career mode on any plane.
