Yes

Brief description of the issue:

The aircraft power gets weak after passing about 3000ft, and while cruising, the speed reduces almost to stall, even with 50kt tailwind. Started after the last update.

Do you have auto-throttle and VNAV turned on? Can you share a screenshot of your PFD and MFD at that stage of flight?

Yes, both on. Now I’m cruising at Mach 0,84, but at the time of the issue, the PFD was showing CLIMB, FMS, AP AT, V ALT.

After desingaging the A/T, and moving the throttle to TOGA, the aircraft got speeding up slowly.

And what was your flight plan and/or selected altitude for that portion of the flight?

For example, if you look in your Flight Plan page, and click on the VNAV button on that page, you will see Climb profiles … in there are certain restrictions that below a certain altitude, and within X miles of the airport, it will stay below a certain speed. Eg, below 10,000 feet, below 250 kias.

Also if you use TOGA to take off, after you reach +400 feet AGL, you should change to FLCH (or VS) to your selected altitude… If you leave it in TOGA (which you shouldn’t) the plane will often overspeed during the initial take off if you are not careful, then as you change modes, the VNAV profile restrictions may be telling it to slow down … and you feel the loss of power. Try to watch what the scoreboard and bugged speed targets are at that point.

Also … check your flaps? Speed is automatically limited / reduced by the amount of flaps and if you have your gear down.

I tryed a flight from LA to New York with the Longitude,70 knot tail wind at 40.000 feet auto throttle in manual mode at .84 mach and all it could muster was mach .74

The selected altitude was 41000ft. Bellow FL100 was 250kt, but I was more than that. Whithin 10 miles from the airport was 230kt also.

VNAV was selected, A/T was on. The managed speed was mach 8.40, but the aicraft was about at 160kt of IAS, with the trottle on the max of the green arc and getting tail wind.

After I ā€œresetedā€ the throttle, disengaging, moving to iddle, than moving to TOGA, the aicraft got slowly to mach .840.

Flaps, gear and spoilers was retracted.

Talked to the guys from Working Title Simulations, they said that was probably because I had the old G3000 mod on my Comunnity folder. Now it comes default. I will test asap if the issue occurs with this new modification.

I suggest leaving it in FMS mode, and normal Cruise profile, for maximum speed performance. The plane will go as fast as it can at whatever altitude, right up against the ā€˜barber pole’ overspeed indicator…

But Weight (fuel) has an impact on top speed too, that’s a long flight so you probably had lots of fuel on board. Try going up to 41000, and as you burn off fuel (and thus lose weight), move up to 43,000.

Also, make sure you turn off Anti-Ice if you don’t needit, because that steals bleed air from the engines. If the speed indicator on the PFD is brushing up against the barber pole.

On the PFD, look for Ground Speed - which will be your KIAS plus tailwind.
