FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

How often does this occur for you (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently)? all the time in CJ4

   2.look outside at plane at 41,000ft

Exactly the same here but at FL340

Those are contrails… A bit excessively sized right out of the engines. Needs more of a taper but otherwise looks ok

Contrails are white, start off thicker and then thin out - not the other way around and would generally have 2 thinner trails from 2 engines - as they disappeear they would get whispy and irregular. These are dark, thin in the beginning and get darker and thicker the further from the plane.

But only show up at altitude? I don’t have this on the ground or lower altitudes.

This also is assuming Asobo has implemented contrails correctly which I doubt they have with the rest of the sim being a bit of a mess

This is definetly a bug, it also lags when I land and look behind me, there are far too many particle effects on screen. I don’t have this issue with any other plane.

Maybe they’re chemtrails? Conspirations fans should be happy. Anyway they are a bit exaggerated. The phenomena is known to appear at higher altitudes due to very low temperatures when the exhaust turns into ice.

Might be a Chemtrail feature. We should look in the settings if somewhere we could assign a button for it. Or it could be unburnt fuel from some leaks in the turbines. Would explain why I never can´t fly anywhere near the advertised range. Maybe you could ignite it as a sort of afterburner?
