I understand you are seeking guidance in the process of performing a clean installation of the RTX 4070 Super graphic card driver due to conflicts with the DirectX12 API.
Firstly, I apologize for the inconvenience caused due to this issue. Please be assured that I will do my best to help you further or point you in the right direction.
Based on the issue described, please follow the steps in order to remove all the NVIDIA Services and Utilities and then attempt to install the latest graphic driver for the Graphic Card.

Kindly uninstall all of the NVIDIA software and drivers from the computer by following the instructions below:

Download the NVIDIA Cleanup Tool (CleanupTool.exe) from the download link below:

Double-click the executable to launch the tool.

Click ACCEPT to accept the End User License Agreement.
-
Click Yes at the confirmation prompt.
The progress dialog appears.
Click OK at the completion dialog to close the dialog.
All NVIDIA software and drivers (including CUDA) have now been removed from the system.
NVIDIA recommends rebooting the system after the tool is finished.
- After restarting the PC you need to download and install the latest driver from NVIDIA.

Additionally, for addressing the DirectX12 Conflicts, please try the following steps and check if this helps :
– Run Windows Update (Settings > Windows Update > Check for updates) to ensure DX12 is up to date.
– Check for corrupt system files by running: Perform SFC and DISM with below mentioned steps:
To use SFC, follow these steps:
- Open the Start Menu, type Command Prompt, and choose Run as administrator from the right pane.
- Type “sfc /scannow” and press Enter.
- The SFC tool will start scanning your system for problems and will try to fix any issues it finds.
– If an issue persists, try using the DirectX End-User Runtime Web Installer from Microsoft:

Could you please give me step by step for uninstall and reinstall RTX4070 super drivers in windows 11 safely. There is a lot of info out there, but it includes some 3rd party software I am suspicious of. I’d like to have correct instructions from Nvidia because apparently, I might have conflict with DX12.
Thanks,
Mike
