IRL, once the ground equipment is done with its job, it’s gone. It is unrealistic that the catering truck and the baggage equipment etc are still there when it’s time to get a pushback. It would be great if there was a way to clear the ground equipment, such as a menu item on the ground services menu or another way.
The catering truck is consistently in the way of the 747.
I’m a low and slow guy but the principle applies to the electric cart and suicidal meandering ground crew as well. For me, when you no longer need the utility click on it and it’s gone just like disappearing the yoke when you need to see behind it.
