ISSUE DESCRIPTION
Description of the issue:
Normally, the sim will automatically fill in a Tail Number when selecting a livery that has one assigned to it. This works with 2024 native and 2020 native aircraft, for the most part.
However, if I modify the Tail Number to something custom of my choosing and then clear that, the automatic assignment will no longer work – the Tail Number field will simply remain blank. I must I quit and relaunch the sim to have the automatic assignment function return.

REPRODUCTION STEPS
Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:
- Launch sim
- Select the C185
- Click Configure > Identification and note the automatic entry of the Tail Number field
- Modify the tail number
- Clear that modified number
- Note the blank field (and subsequently the flight number clears itself…)
- Switch liveries
- Go back to Identification
- Note the field is blank
- Switch aircraft to one with liveries that have pre-assigned tail numbers (I used the C414, however you can just switch away from the C185 and then switch back to it)
- Select a livery
- Go to Identification and note it continues to be blank
- Quit and relaunch sim
- Go to Identification
- Note the Tail Number is now filled with the pre-assigned number
