I also have the same issue!! I hope that this is getting looked into? DX12 runs so much smoother than DX11 for me.

These little visual anomalies, and not just MSFS but many other titles, are why I havenā€™t bought an AMD card in probably 15 years or more. I donā€™t know why it happens. Whether it is developer unfamiliarity or not, but I would have thought the API would help with this.

This is starting to look more like a 6700XT issue in my eyes, having seen users of the 6800 and even lesser cards saying this is not affecting them.

Same problem. Gpu Amd 6700xt driver 22.10.1 vertical lines on the cockpit.

RX6700xt 22.10.1 here, I get also vertical line.

Just tried the latest build (Sim Update 11 beta build 1.29.22.0) that has FSR2 just been implemented. For some reason only in DX12 (beta). It should work on DX11 as well so I donā€™t know what is going on here?

Anyway yet again the exact same issue!! AMD Adrenaline Driver Version 22.10.1

However it seems to be ok with fine weather / live weather. Seems to more of an issue whn you are near clouds or that you are in clouds or stormy weather.

Very frustrating!! Need to do more testingā€¦ I hope AMD / Microsoft / Absobo are working on this?

Very frustrating a?

The 6700XT is a great card and does not have these issues with other gamesā€¦

I hope they are working on a fix?

I hope so too. Sadly if itā€™s just affecting a single tier of a brand of GPUs that are already so much in the minority, I get the feeling we might have to wait until DX12 has been fully implemented for any hope of this being fixed. As such a small proportion of the userbase I expect weā€™ll be pretty low on the list of priorities.

Have all of you reported this to Zendesk? When it comes to cosmetic/visual issues, they rely on the amount of reports in order to prioritise them. This means that every single user with a Navi 22 GPU should send their own report for a chance to get it fixed.

Do you have a link where we can report this? Thx.

Go here: https://flightsimulator.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/requests/new After signing up to Zendesk, submit a report via that link, select the category ā€œI want to report a bug/a small glitch that DOESNā€™T prevent me from playingā€, and fill out the report.

Make sure to include your system specifications and screenshots of the issue, and it would also help to link to this thread so Asobo can see more easily that itā€™s only Navi 22 GPUs being affected by this issue. Your report will immediately be marked as ā€œSolvedā€, but it simply means that your report has been received by the support team and will be processed. If everyone affected by this issue does this, there is a chance Asobo will look into it. The more reports, the higher it will be prioritised.
