Yes for me it also looks good, from close and from far.
Cleared the cache beforehand already.
Terrain Level of Detail set at 200
Updating in the Content Manager and clearing the rolling cache was the first thing I did before checking. I will do so again shortly and check.
I’d kill for that result. Your screenshots reflect what mine more or less looks like only when I delete the Canada 3d cities photogrammetry. I always reboot PC and clear both Sim and Nvidia caches after any update, also clear my community folder beforehand.
These are the graphics settings I use: 1440p resolution, most options set to Ultra, and Terrain LOD set to 200. I have an RTX 3080Ti GPU.
Seems to be fixed now. Perhaps it was linked to the temporary WU15 photogrammetry outage.
Thanks for sharing your settings Seedy. Was about to attempt duplicating them but, quite mysteriously, all ok for me now. After my initial dreadful experience with WU15 I once again had deleted the Canada 3d Photogrammetry cities, so I reinstalled them, then immediately spawned at CYTZ, intending to mess around with further settings. Imagine my surprise when I was greeted with a great image of Toronto that looked just like your screenshots. Other than installing, deleting, then reinstalling the 3d cities, I changed no other settings.
Perhaps the 1st reinstallation didn’t ‘take?’ Or maybe server load? All I know is that everything is fine with Toronto once again with the 3d cities installed. Vancouver shows same great results. Thanks to your post I did turn on Nvidia Reflex Low Latency setting but have not yet seen a difference. Off to the Nordics and New Zealand to see what’s new there!
Fixed with World Update 15.
