Can the Assistance/Piloting/ AI Radio Communications (ATC) be toggled via a key from within a flight ? Is there another way to achieve this ?
Yes, it is available from the toolbar (shows up when mouse is hovered near top of screen).
On my installation this “button” is key A…“display ATC window”. Nothing to do with Co-pilot Comm radio handling.Question is therefore not solved.
I think what you are looking for is “toggle toolbar” in OPTIONS > CONTROL OPTIONS.
Since I fly in VR, mine is a different binding called “VR-toolbar toggle”.
Once you have this you can bind it to whatever button, key, etc. you wish.
Once you access the toolbar, you want “flight assistant”, then “AI radio communications (ATC)”.
You can toggle this on and off in flight. See pictures below.
Thanks for your idea. It provides the ability to activate the co-pilot radio from within a flight…which is a start. This “workaround” for a standard cockpit facility illustrates yet again the problems that
repeatedly arise from the Sim being designed by computer technicians rather than pilots.
