Hello Everyone

What are you using to move your camera around?
When does it do this?
Probably something (Joystick, mouse, …)
ist set do doing that but is not properly centered. Like an Axis you dont think about - like my Thrustmaster thing which has 10+ axes ^^
I am using the CH Warthog joystick with the hat button but camera pans downward without toughing anything. It also happens with the external cameras.
Interesting! It started behaving badly after I changed my sensitivity settings to zero. What are the ideal settings?
Yes, sounds like the sim is getting an erratic micro signal from centered position in the controller. That is quite common, even in new ones.
The change in sensitivity makes that signal stronger.
I just diagnosed the issue with the Throttle quadrant. I set the sensitivities to 0 and them the problem started… When I unplugged the quadrant the problem goes away and camera is stable. Now, Can you give me some average sensitivity settings?
And thanks a million for responding so soon.
Is there a neutral setting you can expand?
It really varies from user to user, a lot depending on age and use of the controller
The best advice is trial and error.
Start where you were previously and reduce to where it starts. Move slightly more than that.
No, no neutral settings
I have very old controllers. Had them since my years as a Warthog/A-10 technician in the AF, retired 1998. LOL.
I’ll try your suggestions and fiddle with it today. At least I know the problem is with my Throttle Quad.
Thanks again and have a great and safe day.
Thank you for responding, I’ll be playing with it all day hopefully I can a mission later today.
Thanks to everyone. and have a great day.
There is a so called Dead Zone when in sensitivity settings of the device. Expand that dead zone.
(Senstivity setting within MSFS)
Hi
I have the CH fighterstick with throttle Quadrant and had similar problem after a MSFS update.
I found the update had duplicated POV commands onto 2 devices creating a conflict
When I removed the view controls from 1 device in this case the throttle POV hat switch
It stopped and I had control of my views back via the POV hat switch on the Fighterstick.
Hope this helps

Many thanks
Many thanks…I’ll try that too. Have a great and safe day/night.
“Track IR” in camera was causing my view drifting. moved slider button to off and it stopped. the camera i’m referring to, is the one that is available when the sim is loaded. it applies to cockpit, outside & drone. the only problem is that it doesn’t save it, so i have to disable it each time i load acrft. Hope this helps some of you. My problem started on sim update 7.
So, is this a keyboard command you are using to change between views?
