It works fantastically well for me.
Using 110% on Flyby wire and 90% on most of GA planes
How can we know how big should a cockpit be without having been in one?
I mostly fly with the C152, should I modify anything?
hmmm…
Find the good cockpit size on the net, measure and place markers of the same size on your desk. move from one to another and set world scale until both movement, in sim and in real are in sync ?
This is a very good idea actually, I’ll give it a try. Thanks!
it is different for each people / headset / aircraft…, but for GA, most part of people seems to use value near 85 and 90%. for the Kodiak 100, i’m fine at 85%.
I use the Valve index + a physical panel built to scale with all switches, knobs, GNS 530 & 430, and I’ve found that a world scale of 110% fits the all the physical components.
It FINALLY feels like a real plane.
Sweet, some hero built a workaround! Having a go as soon as I get back from work.
I would love to scale down cockpit of the a320 which is comically huge in vr but not scale down the world. Or Scale up the 152 about 2% or 3%. You can scale the whole scene in you VR headset apps but I just want to scale the cockpits. The world is fine and I don’t want scale them together.
Hi, I have now switched on the developer mode of Steam VR.
And you know the problem:
Could you please give me the link for this tool, because Steam 3D scaling does not work in Flight Sim 2020.
Thank you very much
Did anyone notice this was marked as “fixed” in the Feedback snapshot? Does anyone know of what this fix consists?
Good question. Odd…
Sometimes the cockpit or world scale is wrong,
but the difference between the eye camera distance and your IPD will also make the scale look wrong.
