Cockpit view somehow tilted?

Hi everyone.

I tried to search the forums but to no avail and don‘t really know how to put it in words either, but I‘ll try.

Some days ago my default cockpit view of the instrument panel changed slightly but annoyingly.
It seems to be tilted to the front and not as upright as it used to be. I want to „pull it back up in my direction“ if you want to call it that….
I tried to change my view settings but only saw horizontal or zoom actions.

Can somebody help me here?

If I was in front of my sim I could probably give you a better answer, but there are some pilot view options that don’t reset with the “view reset” option. Some of these were mapped by default to the HAT switch on my Thrustmater flight stick. If i press up once, I get a slightly elevated/tilted view. If I press up again, I get a view over the nose and zoomed in further. The “reset” option doesn’t bring me back, I need to click down on the HAT switch to get back to where I was.

I think the control options are named something like “Next pilot position” and “Previous pilot position” and these are different than named positions. Try looking for those and see if you can find what you have mapped to “next” and “previous” and maybe one of those will return you to where you want to be.

Don’t know if I’m right here, but I had a similar experience. This went away when I disabled the trackir toggle from the camera menu.

If you use TrackIR, reset it or turn it off in the camera options if you aren’t using it. There are keybindings for camera tilt. Check your keyboard settings by entering in the word “camera” in the search field. For me, it was like numpad or something to tilt the camera with a Ctrl modifier or something. There are also ways to save preset for camera views. Check that. Also, if you haven’t played in a while, you might want to reset your keyboard and mouse settings as sometimes the old settings get corrupted. Maybe you held down a keyboard modifier and accidentally moved your mouse or something. There are just too many variables to give you a straight answer.
