CoherentGTCore.dll is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error

,

Hello , I had MSFS running well for a while and now I’m getting this error when launching ?? Microsoft.FlightSimulator_1.37.19.0_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe CoherentGTCore.dll is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error. The game crashes on me ? Do you know what this is and how to fix this ? I am new to this game so not really across all the nuances Thanks

It’s a part of the software used to build the UI.

As to what is going wrong, I’m not sure. If you know where to find that file, could you show the Properties for it? Here is mine:

One thing it might be worth trying is a repair.

Open the XBox app, select MSFS, then click the three dots:

Then Manage:

Then Files, and Verify and Repair:

Hi
Thanks for the reply , I tried your suggestion and the problem remains .

Hi @pilotochile - Have a read through this article.
where it says “This issue can arise for a wide variety of Windows software … It (the error) typically occurs because prerequisite files for software packages aren’t accessible.”

Perhaps one of the solutions in the article will solve this issue.

This was almost certainly your fix, not moving it from one place to another.

The first thing I can think of is language packs, even if present they may need moving up or down the list
