COM1, COM2, COM3 tabs disappeared from ATC window

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue: When opening the ATC window, the only available tabs are “Interphone” and “Groupe” (fr-FR locale for the interface, though I use en-US for audio)

If applicable, which aircraft is experiencing this issue:
I see this in all planes I tried, observed both in career mode and in free flight, and persistent across restarts of MSFS. Mission-scripted interactions stay available through usual bindings.

FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

How often does this occur for you (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently)?

Everytime since this morning.

I’ve been flyng without ssue all day. First flight after logging into the game following a meal and it’s now like this for all planes. Exiting game, verifying files, all do nothing.

This is game breaking when you need to correct a radio call because the “quick radio” opton isn’t working.

Just had this happen today, after landing at correct airport and exiting runway I couldn’t announce taxiing to parking. Manually tuned comms and nothing. Waste of a 5 hr mission and my time. Thanks for making us beta test this waste of time. I would like my million credits since I completed the mission with an S rating, if your game actually worked.

Interesting. I had this happen this after where COM1, COM2, COM3 tabs were there but I couldn’t get any ATC. Didn’t realize this is a side effect of the streaming services we have…

Not been able to access COM1 or COM2 for about a week now. Nothing seems to fix it, started happening for no obvious reason. Relevant choices do mostly show up at the bottom of the comms window if I’m tuned to the right frequency, but it seems to be hit and miss sometimes. Can’t find any solution and the COM tabs don’t reappear even after restarting Flight Sim, restarting the computer (multiple times) or after updating to the SU1 beta version.

Playing on PC, latest beta version. Will probably have to try a complete reinstall next. Really frustrating.

Just did a full reinstall of FS2024, still no COM1 / COM2 in the Communication window.

In the screenshot you can see I have one option showing up at the bottom but I can’t generally do most things like select nearest airports. Clicking on “Intercom” or “Group” selects those windows and then I can’t get back to the COM display until I receive a message or just randomly close and open the window a few times. Can’t find any way to restore the tabs (and no, clicking on the left arrow next to Intercom does nothing).

Today’s beta update did nothing to improve the problem and I can’t find any other reports about this online so it’s clearly not a common problem (or have other people just not noticed?). So frustrating!

• This is happening in career mode is where I noticed it. Can’t scroll to comms, not even after setting to proper frequency manually or with EFB.

Maybe a fluke but this now seems resolved for me after I removed mobiflight-event-module from my community folder. It was used by Auto-FPS and I also removed Auto-FPS. Fingers crossed, hope that helps others.

I also have this only have egnt add on and fenix. Currently re installing but doubt it’ll work

Anyone got any other tips as I can’t even take off in career as as pushback request isn’t showing in the steps

I solved this by turning any atc options off that I could, restart sim then then then back on. Can’t say what one solved it if I was to guess it would be the co pilot auto reply somehow bugged into career somehow as it’s not a option

But just turn what any atc options you can restart sim

If you want I can check tomorrow and update what I turned off if you can’t solve it today ? Just let me know

Thank you. I messed around with atc settings the other day, and then started it up yesterday and it was working. Not sure what I did either, but there is something going on. Thank you for reaching out! My big thing is cancelling IFR in career so I can leave my desk for a few without getting dinged for not responding.

My cancel ifr only seems to work below 10,000 ft so I do it straight away now.

Just done a 6 hour flight and it went into a loop on the loading screen. Luckily I reset sim and it seemed to give me my money so I’m back to where I was money wise after today time to start saving for the bigger jets and airbus when they finally drop into the sim

I’m having the same issue.

Happened when I was doing the career thing. Suddenly COM1 and COM2 disappeared and now I only have Intercom and Group.

Which means I can’t bring up ATIS, other airports, change runway for landing.

Basically I am completely amputated as far as ATC and simulating communications in game goes.

All I can do is quick reply by hitting Enter key during missions.

Been over half a year since this was raised and still not a single workaround or solution?

Come on already.

I am now having the same issue.
No COM1, COM2 or COM3 options in game. I can no longer interact with ATC other than the ENTER / LEFT D-PAD button. It is ruining my career mode because half the time the quick reply rarely works as it is.

I have uninstalled, Disabled all ATC and restarted the game and disabled all ATC, uninstalled, reinstalled and enabled ATC. No success.
There is no fix for this yet?

I had this I turned off every atc option I could in the menu like force flight plan with atc etc restarted sim turned it back on and it worked again.

Do you remember where ytou found all these menus options? i’ve been looking through but only see a couple.
