Tried a new type of video from the home cockpit, 360 video. This will allow the person watching to control their view and look anywhere they’d like as if they’re sitting right there in the right seat. I highly recommend watching in a VR headset if you have one (resolution degrades a tiny bit, but still very cool). Otherwise, use your mouse to click and drag to change view when watching on PC, and if on tablet/phone simply tilt the device to look around (you can also use your finger to swipe).
Hoping to make this my new format for flying videos going forward, but wanted to test the waters first. Any feedback is greatly appreciated!
Awesome. I want that too!
I would even be satisfied of having some tiny enclosed space to sit in that resembles the pure shape of a cockpit (with no instruments) and with some fixed mounted Warthog joystick to have a comfortable liminal space to sit in with a cozy space-heater whily flying
Awesome how you get these real instruments and Garmin1000 replica screens and all the other stuff running.
