Condensing flight time

I have limited time to play. Is there a way to condense the flying time to minimize the time between airports and way points while practicing dead reckoning skills?

There is a “Travel To” function available from the hidden “winged” in sim menu. If you have an active flight plan in the sim, you can use it. [Untitled]

You can also “Increase Sim Rate” - but I would vouch for “shorter flights”.
