Conflict with Decrease Throttle and Interaction Unlock

When using an XBox controller, SU10 introduces a new conflict between the Decrease Throttle button (B) and Interaction Unlock (also B). Holding the B button to decrease power while using the In-Cockpit view will no longer decrease the throttle lever-- the throttle will decrease only with repeated button presses.

This problem does not manifest when flying in Chase Cam, as holding the B button will decrease power normally in this mode, indicating the problem occurs only while in-cockpit where interaction with the instruments is expected.

A workaround can be implemented by substituting the default Interaction Unlock command from the B button to something else.

The fact that this problem appeared with the introduction of SU10 indicates a conflict with the cockpit ‘Interaction Unlock’ command was created through an error in SU10.

What does interaction unlock do? I’ve been having this problem with my throttle for several releases.

When you click on a knob or switch in the cockpit, you press the A button to select that particular knob or switch. You press the B button when you’re finished to de-select that knob or switch.

The fact that the B button also lowers your throttle means when you hold down B to decrease power, the sim thinks you’re trying to click away from some instrument panel switch instead.

Oh is this only on Xbox? I use PC. I assume that there is no Interaction Unlock on PC?
