I notice that if I switch Multi Player to ‘off’ my connection to the servers is dropped, and I go offline. Is this as designed? I am not interested in Multi Player at the moment - this seem to mean having to watch a lot of stupid stuff. So is it a problem going offline in this way?
You’re only “Offline” from a Multiplayer Perspective. All other services - Live Traffic, Weather, Bing Maps Streaming, etc. are solely determined by your selections in Options-General-Data.
Multiplayer ON allows you to switch servers to a different region. But generally the sim is aware enough to set your flying session as a Single Player to the nearest Regional Server, so if you’re not interested in Multiplayer, you can leave it Off.

Thanks - I was hoping it wasn’t a bug. I’ll turn Multi Player off now.

I just installed it on my Xbox x using gamepass. When I try to fly I get a message saying I am offline and need to install the scenery. But I am actually online. Currently I am trying to install west USA.
