Confused! What AI traffic mod works best in FS2024?

Hello All,

Not a new flight simmer but very computer-illiterate, so a helping hand, please…

As far as I’m aware, AI traffic is still hit or miss but there are suggestions SU1 has improved it significantly, to the point that FSLTL, AIG and BATC work pretty well. BATC is something I’ll probably need time to learn about but I’ve had a little look at AIG’s website and came away only more confused — they seem to offer a lot of mods but I’ve no idea which I need? Is it better in the new sim than FSLTL?

The ONE thing preventing me from uninstalling FS2020 is 2024’s poor AI traffic but if SU1 has largely fixed that, I’d love to make the jump (while freeing up some much-needed disk space!)

SU1 has fixed very little with AI aircraft or ATC. Do yourself a favor and get BATC.

I use BATC with FSLTL models and it is very good.
The stock traffic is really bad

Absolutely, hands down, if you want traffic, you need to get BATC. I hate default MS jets, and with BATC, they’re gone. The only negative I see with BATC is that it requires you to file your flight with SimBrief, but it takes like 30 seconds to do once you’ve done it a few times. It’s definitely worth it.
