Connecting MSFS to internet with Steam Offline

Hi All,
Due to a freezing screen only with online data, I’m suspecting a problem with the steam cloud and associated profile.
Do someone know if it’s possible to leave Steam offline, then launch MSFS and connect it directly to the internet with my Microsoft account ?

Wont work though if steam is kicking a cloud issue, it should give you the option to load your settings from offline or the cloud. I get that all the time here…

Also some people are reporting problems with loosing connection to the MSFS servers last night-this morning, so it could be that as well.

No, it’s since several days…
Do you mean if I undo the cloud option storage in steam, it could be possible to connect MSFS without Steam ?

Not that I’m aware of. With the Steam version of the sim, I think the digital entitlement (i.e. DRM) rests with Steam instead of your Microsoft account.

For me, when I put Steam in “offline mode” it throws cloud sync errors when I launch or exit the sim. I would try undoing the cloud sync option like you mentioned or run the sim while Steam is in “offline mode” which appears to force the cloud syncing to fail.

F..k ! The sim’ started again online !
I’ve done (almost) nothing !
Only a déconnexion from the Microsoft Store (which doesn’t work in my house)
