Considering Velocity One for a new stick

My LogitechExtreme3D Pro has served me for many years, but now it seems to be on its way out. I am considering the Velocity One stick as a replacement. I typically fly the FenixA3xx and Just Flight RJ Pro (and probably will also fly the PMDG B737 series once PMDG finally update it for FS24 - though I may be dead of old age before that ever happens!).

For those with the Velocity One and who also use it for FS24 and Fenix. Would you recommend it?

Many thanks.

Yes, I would. I got one since a month or so and is a very good joystick. I was afraid at first because some comments said that the detent in the center was too strong, but it is not. Delicate operations in landings can be performed very precisely.

Only one recommendation: use some suction cups to stick it to the table. I’ve used some double sided tape to place some suction cups at the bottom of the stick to keep it firmly flat on the table:

I’m using the slides for spoilers (right) and for propeller pitch in turboprops (left). I’m not using the wheel because I prefer the Bravo wheel for trimming. Is very comfortable and precise.

Thank you VillaJota for your very handy tip about the suckers. I ordered some with my joystick, which arrived today. Though the tipping of the joystick was not as apparent as I thought I did apply the suckers as you suggested, and it works a treat.

The joystick is awesome and is just what I am looking for. Thanks again for your advice.
