Consistent stutter every one second

Hi all,

I have recently started noticing a stutter / fps pause happening every one second consistently in my sim, even when performance is overall pretty good. I have attached a video where you can see a spike in the mainthread every second which is causing this. I have an i9-10900k with a 3070 and 32gb of ram. Just wondering if anyone could pinpoint what this might be.

I also think overall I get quite poor performance for my specs and am not sure why. I average around 22fps and even when i tune my options down a little struggle to see any major increase, and it is always a mainthread limit issue. If anyone’s got any ideas with either of these two issues, I’d appreciate it tremendously.

Clear your cache in game. Most of my stutter events were cache related.

Ultimately it was fixed by an FSUIPC update. But there is also some good advice in the thread about other things to check out if that doesn’t fix it for you.

sorry if stupid question but do you mean the rolling cache in the data section of settings or a different one to clear? thanks for your reply
