Constant CTD, cant enter flight

Hello everybody,

from out of nowhere my sim started to CTD randomly. Sometimes it crashes druing boot, sometimes in the menu. I am unable to get into flight. Tried reinstalling the sim, no luck.

The faulty thing is UCRTBASE.DLL and NTDLL.DLL and or nvwgf2umx.dll. If anybody experienced this and is able to tell me what to do I would be grateful.

Tried reinstalling NVIDIA using DDU, no luck.

Tried reinstalling VC++, no luck.

Tried all the sfc /scannow stuff, logging out and in from accounts, no luck.

Basically cant use the sim now.

Tried many things

Reinstall Sim
Reinstall Win Updates
Eliminate community and streamed
Update to Su Beta5
Going back to non Beta

CTD happens in loading or in game.

EDIT: the bellow worked only for a while, still facing the issue. Now also KERNEL.DLL

Ok, so what finally worked for me was to do DDU of the NVIDIA drivers, disconnect internet and install a new one. But OLDER. Not the latest. Currently running 595.97.

Fixed itself with the latest Gaming Services Update. Pretty sure it was their fault because it affected all Microsoft Store Games that i have and not only MSFS2024.

Where did you get update? I tried to reinstall the Gamingservices yesterday but no luck.

it just came out today. just clicked on search for updates in the MS Store “Downloads” Tab. The last one before…which in my opinion caused the issue…. was from 2 days ago and the fixed one became available a couple of hours ago.

You have a non-standard version of Gaming Services installed, which may cause issues.

If you’ve joined the PC Gaming Preview, please follow the steps below:

Open Xbox Insider Hub app
Previews > PC Gaming > Leave
Restart PC
Uninstall Gaming Services
Uninstall Xbox app
Restart PC
Download and install Xbox app - restart PC
Launch MSFS.

FYI, PC Gaming Preview forces the new version of Gaming Services and the Xbox app.

You may also be experiencing this issue if you have joined the Windows Insider Program.
