i have tried them all (onboard motherboard ports and pcie Fresco Logic USB 3.0 eXtensible Host Controller-1.0(microsoft Driver date 16/11/2020 )
There seems to be a hardware issue somewhere. Its not the sim. Its hardware issue .
so how come every thing works fine in X-plane ? i see no errors in Device manager
Please list your hardware
Or the hardwareâs software connection to the sim.
With the sim running, you should start, one by one, plugging them in until you can determine what part of your system and the sim donât like each other.
Try various comboâs to find what does and doesnât.
Thats a good suggestion .
yes i have done all that ,I tried first 1 controller in each separate USB port still crashes to desktop
Man re install windows . Delete everything from every disk ! Al disk will be empty . Install
Windows on your primary . After that . Install all drivers for
Your
Gpu and mother board go to the site is it asus board then go to asus and look for drivers for the mother board so all can be updated then after download the sim install to a separate drive dedicated for simming . Then do the windows update fully !
Let me know what happens after that . And plz list your hardwares u have !!! Like thrustmaster or honeycomb etc !!
Ryzen 3600x 32 go ram
GTX 1080TI
Onboard USB 3.0 5 ports
Thrustmaster rudder pedals (USB 2.0)
Arduino joystick (USB 2.0)
Saitek throttle quadrant (USB 2.0)
Thrustmaster Throttle quadrant (usb2.0)
I have completely removed all internal drives SSD and HD
Cleaned my NVme 2.0 drive
Reinstalled windows 10 20 2H
Updated ALL drivers

I have done everything you have suggested including going to ASUS site and installing all newest drivers and BIOS update
However still CTD when i plug in my controller (CH products Yoke) tried ALL USB ports 1 at a time still CTD
I am running out of ideas
I may have to replace my motherboard AAAAGGGHH !!!
Do that . Cause its not the sim
Its soemthing wrong with tour hardware . Faulty hardware !
I think I may have something on that error code. 0x5fda32ba
Give me a bit. Iâm wondering if it could be an MSFS issue.
Ok i will wait for your report
Iâm starting to think its a windows problem
I might try installing a slightly older windows 10
Because this has only started to happen when i upgraded to Windows 10 2004 v20 2H
The only reason i updated was because of the persistent update error
This is what I have accidentally discovered.
A few days ago, in response to a thread on the current simconnect issue in a post with MichaMMA,
I mentioned that I, as a 16GB ram user, had always kept my VM as a custom size, and had never experienced a CTD issue from simconnect which he and others had recently noticed started happening
To see if that would affect my computer, I put my VM back to âsystem managedâ
Well, I couldnât get the sim to start.
CTD constantly.
When I occassionally did, It was with no mods at all, and only basic single engine planes at smaller airports.
Anything else would CTD.
This seemed to prove his theory so I put my settings back.
I though no more until I reread your error code, only to discover it is the same one I had from that experiment.
I had 5fda32ba.
Every time!
Interesting because I havenât even touched my VM settings
So I have 32 GB ram what should i set for my VM ?
Thatâs the only odd part, because you have a 32GB setup
Does the paging fileâs drive have room for a bigger file, is that drive size restricted?
If that is no issue, try this.
Windows says1.5 and 3 times your ram size should do (I went to 4 with no ill affects)
So in your case, and as I believe Windows is in MB, your Initial size should be set at 48000 MB and the maximum size at 96000 MB
I cant understand why it would be a hardware issue,if that was the case then xplane would do the same thing but it runs perfectly (No CTD with xplane
As i stated before i had no issues before i update to win10 20 2H so it Must be a windows Issue
Now Unfortunaley I cant download the original 1904 win installer
Have you used the MSFS reset and uninstall functions that are found in the Windows10 âApps & Featuresâ menu to remove MSFS?
Use them in that order.
Reset your settings, then uninstall MSFS.
Its a hardware issue . I had a similar issue so inhad to turn down my voltage and memory clock speed and it runs fine and do the november driver .
In Theory: the âsystem managedâ minimum value is around âRAM / 8â , the maximum is âRAM x 3â but max âVolume-Size / 8â .
I would be strange if an issue comes from these side, but of course itâs a try worth:
Recommended manual setting in this case similar as for 16Gig RAM : Min 4 / Max 30.
Question:
what is
?
And more interessting:
so we switched in meanwhile from âcanât startupâ to âcrash while plugin CH products Yokeâ.
You can made a test:
- does the Sim starts fine without âCH products Yokeâ is pluged in
- does it repeatable crash if you plugin âCH products Yokeâ while start
?
Then the cause might be the âCH products Yokeâ , USB Hub or a existing invalid setting which possible comes from the Cloud. In this case we can try to remove the local settings and start offline⊠but Iâam not realy sure about and I thought a completly uninstalling as per FAQ removed also former settings from the cloud ( not sure ).
