Constant intrusion of "Controls" page while in "Activities" or "Free Flight"

Thank you kindly for reviewing my issue. I am desperate to have it resolved. How do you typically respond to me?

Aircraft: Cessna172P

This is my first use of msfs 2024 1.5.27. I did not receive any assistance on the forum for this problem.

PROBLEM: **Everytime I use “Activities” or “Free Flight” I receive continuous intrusions of “Controls” page every few seconds. This takes up about 3/4 of the visible page and I can proceed no longer as I can’t see anything. I noticed if I click on toolbar above and then unclick “Basic Controls” the issue promptly stops. Unfortunately the dialogue box will not leave and is exactly where I need to look!!

My machine has NO other programs as it is new and reserved just for FSDELUXE 2024. I was getting nowhere…so after three months I deleted everything using Revo Uninstaller. When I went to reinstall it on a clean drive I was directed to x-Box for the new download. I have had this game for over 5 months and have found NO SOLUTIONS. The download took about 40+ minutes as I have fiber with bandwidth of over 950 mbps

1. Open toolbox at top of screen in one of the above mentioned…which then opens a dialog box called “Reset Position”.

2. It contains “Basic Controls”….Camera…Mission Steps…and finally “TOGGLE ACTIVE PAUSE”

3. When I “unclick” Basic Controls the intrusions stop and do not recur. Unfortunately, the dialog box remains in it’s permanent position and I can not remove it without selecting the “Basic Controls” again.

I am currently using Saitek Pro Yoke System with Throttle, and Thrustmaster Rudder pedals with the mouse and keyboard of course. Most of the directions given by “Jess” is to use the keyboard. I tried using the program without the controllers but I encountered the same issue. I even tried a new mouse as well as running sfc on my computer…no problems.

I have done nothing to tamper with the Developer Mode or made any changes to it?

I am currently using DX12.

nVidia GeForce RTX 3060 Ti 8gb (Driver version: 32.0.15.8115) according to device manager.

Graphics Card: NVIDIA Geforce RTX 3060Ti 8 gb
One 500gb SSD (using now); and one 1Tb SSD never been used
Latest Chrome Browser
No third party software, mods, nothing only this program
Logitech Yoke/Throttle, Thrustmaster Rudder- All OK
No bugs reported using Cessna 172P

To turn these off, go to Settings, General, Flight Interface.
In External Camera, select HUD in External View to “Off”

Your screenshot 1:
This screenshot shows that you have selected the External view.
This is also shown in your screenshot 3 which is the External view.

This is the display of the Basic Controls from the On-Screen Menu.
Your keyboard is selected but it doesn’t have a Preset defined.
I cannot duplicate this but suspect this is your trouble.

My screenshot:
Click 1 for the listing of items to be displayed or not.
Click 2 to display the Basic Controls or not.

When I click the Controls icon on the On-Screen menu, mine also defaults with the keyboard selected. But mine shows the default Presets.

I can only guess that the program wants to have a Preset defined in order to continue.

I don’t know why you do not have the default Presets listed for your keyboard.
Or why the spinning wheel is displayed.

Does your keyboard work in FS2024?
