In the linked video, it looks like the user is hitting or very close to hitting max system RAM utilization, consistently over 31GB out of 32GB on the dev mode FPS display. If the computer is regularly having to access a memory page file on your storage, that would be bad.

Does everyone see the same? That would be a rather large hint.

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue:

I am having the issue here where my GPU and CPU are constantly on high processes, with spikes causing stuttering with 787 and 330 on CYYZ, and KLAX when on the ground but after taking off in stutters, the frame performance when back up after climbing to 1000ft or above.

Used to get 46ish FPS now reduced in half to like low 20s to around 19 to 18ish.

Settings, high, with cloud on ultra, but nothing much changed

Thought this may be a RAM issue too but he stated 64GB System RAM so there should be enough overhead. But I also noticed that my RAM usage after a game restart was around 35% (32GB RAM in System) before the patch and 75% after the patch.

Same issue at default CYYZ., low settings or off. Horrible stutters in the default Cessna.

Turn off Dev mode. Fps counter will stay active.

On nearly all airports with all the different planes, getting stutters on final, rwy and sometimes takeoff.

• Same issue: stuttering like crazy at many airports. Default install, no community addons, no 2020 content at all, not in dev mode.

• Yes

• Very noticeable stuttering particularly during take-off and landing but also in level flight. I always test at my local airport CYYJ in the C172 G1000 but have also tried other airports.

I had NO stuttering at all at CYYJ or most other airports prior to the 1.2.7.0 update.

Reasonable hardware with i7-12700K, 64GB of memory, RTX 3070Ti 8GB GPU, 1GB wired internet connection.

I wonder if he mis-spoke? The dev counter definitely looks like it’s saying there’s 32GB memory, and he has exceeded it.

This isn’t my video, it’s from NZA simulations, just an example of the issue also happening to me and others. I have 64GBs RAM

• Tried various random airports in all corners of the globe, tried various aircraft, from the C172, to the airbusses, same result.

Landing at LFMT (small airport) and stutters happened until I quit the flight.

With Cessna Longitude.

Was not experiencing that before Patch 3 of December

• YES, since today’s (yesterdays?) patch

• LEBB airport; suddenly massive stutter (like 2 FPS performance) after startup, on the way for takeoff; went away after taking off from airport.
