I’ve seen other threads on this topic but can’t figure out why the stuttering video.
Recording with Game Bar, Flight Sim is perfectly smooth, but playback of video is constant stutters. Here’s and example:
Recording in OBS, I get an nearly blank screen; just the top few pixels of the capture area are showing. Looks like this:
This is only happening in MSFS. Recording the same in X-Plane is totally fine. So, I’m not getting what’s going on. Any advice would be appreciated much.

Hello, try to use this configuration that I have
I hope this solves this problem for you, I generally use game capture and separately I use the beta audio system called application audio capture (BETA)
With this configuration the game runs smoothly and perfectly without that type of lag that you have.

I hope it works for you, and I hope you fix that problem, the truth is that it is very bad that one has that problem, but by doing trial and error you will fix things there. 
Ah, I forgot that I had reloaded OBS and reset the settings. My issue was an output issue in OBS. I’m recording in 2k but OBS was set for 1920x1080 output.
Thanks for your settings. I’m getting proper video from OBS now.
I suspect then that my stuttering issue is due to something (setting?) between Game Bar and MSFS because stuttering only happens in the Game Bar recordings a not OBS. I would have seen that OBS worked properly if I had had the OBS output set correctly.
Anyway, thanks again. I don’t really like Game Bar, I just use it for quick takes. But I would like to find out why it stutters.
