Control profiles not auto selected per aircraft

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue:
Controller profiles set up for Honeycomb Alpha and Bravo for GA aircraft. Profile set as default and assigned to all aircraft. When sim restarted it automatically resorts to default sim profile for default aircraft custom profile previously assigned too. I have even reformatted my pc and reinstalled the sim but same problem!

Yes makes no difference

FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

How often does this occur for you (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently)?

Every time the sim is restarted

REPRODUCTION STEPS

Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:

  1. create custom control profile for general or aircraft and for yoke and throttles
  2. works fine during current flight
  3. Restart sim and it defaults back to the standard 2024 default profile even after choosing custom as ‘default’

YOUR SETTINGS

What peripherals are currently plugged in? Please name all of them as there could be a potential conflict.

Honeycomb Alpha and Bravo. Logitech rudder pedals. Mouse and keyboard

[PC Only] Are you using Developer Mode or have you made any changes to it?

No, no reason to have developer mode enabled!

[PC, MSFS 2020 Only] Are you using DX11 or DX12?

2024 so DirectX 12 only

[PC Only] What GPU (Graphics Card) do you use?
nVidia 3080ti

[PC Only] What other relevant PC specs can you share?
Kind of irrelevant. AMD 7800x3D, 64Gb DDR 5 6000 memory

Am I the only person experiencing this on this forum? Nothing I do is working. The sim ALWAYS loads default control profiles for all my controllers. Setting a profile to default doesnt work, setting a profile to all aircraft does not work. Sensitivity settings are also not saving and go back to default on a sim restart. These are essential for rudder pedals. Close to giving up on 2024!

• Yes, I have the same issue with my Honeycomb Alpha and Bravo settings not being set as the default when the game loads.

Provide extra information to complete the original description of the issue:
• My customs keyboard settings are defaulted on startup.

If relevant, provide additional screenshots/video:
• I don’t have anything additional to add. I’m responding to the advise the issue is not unique to PilotCentaur736.

Yes I had the same issue. Then I found a post that fixed it. You have to delete your cloud save and recreate. You will have to do all your bindings again.

Thanks though will this reset EVERYTHING? I am not sure if this issue with the controls has been present since I first installed on the 19th Nov. Willing to give anything a go to be honest as at present its a terrible problem.

Ok I deleted the cloud save and restarted the sim. Make a duplicate copy of the default alpha profile for the 172. Made some changes, applied a new name and tested and it appears so far to work after a sim restart. Ill quickly set up the Bravo too and test more. Thanks for your help. Also posted this on Avsim so will pass on your advice

What does this reset? This doesnt reset career mode does it?

EDIT confirming this does NOT reset career mode thankfully and it did indeed correct my issue of control presets not loading by default as i had set.
