Control settings configuration will be lost in a new MSFS installation?

Hi guys,

quick question, i might be installing from 0 MSFS into a new computer. Will all my control settings configuration (e.g. my joke) will still be there? or do i need to configure all back from scratch?

They should be available under the same account when you fresh install as this data is stored in the cloud and will redownload upon reinstallation.

You can also backup the following folder (local copy of your controls profiles):

\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\SystemAppData\wgs

But yes, as soon as you launch game for the first time in a fresh install the cloud sync will be triggered and that folder will be copied from the cloud to your local client as well as the rest of your graphical settings, configurations, logbook and achievements.
