As per title:
For reference, I use the controller for taxi / take off / landing, and generally only use KB/mouse to control everything (via autopilot) once in the air.
Before this latest update, the X-Box controller would try to interrupt mouse inputs / clicks but only on the main menu (most noticeable when looking at friend list / servers etc), but now it does it in the cockpit and makes doing anything with the mouse virtually impossible.. the controller seemingly keeps interrupting the mouse input.
For anyone who knows what I’m talking about, perhaps you can elaborate better or advise what option needs changed to fix it.
If there’s another similar topic already then please accept my apologies and merge accordingly.
I had a quick look and couldn’t see anything identical to this, but there appear to be a high number of issues raised since the latest update and I simply don’t have time to analyse them all.

I’m in the same boat so I’ll explain the way I did things and how they are now.
I used to:
-Taxi and takeoff using the gamepad to control rudders, flaps and (on TO) yoke while simultaneously adjusting lighting, AP and viewport with the mouse.
-Switch to Autopilot navigation after TO. Generally the gamepad remains at rest now aside from the occassional showcase camera flight.
-AP goes off course? Gamepad for yoke, mouse for anything else.
-For landing, it’d basically be the same as TO.
Now I do:
Not fly. It’s impossible.
-Boot up a flight, the view is constantly panning down. Mouse entirely ignored. Fixed by disabling gamepad view panning entirely.
-Every time a surface on the Pad is touched, the mouse would just stop.
-Can’t actually power up the aircraft, pulling the throttle to flight idle is “physically” impossible now.
I hope this makes sense as a description of my current issues.
Thanks for your input mate, much appreciated.
It sounds like the same problem I have, so it’s good to hear it’s not just me!
Hopefully others can chime in if they have the same experience, or if someone has found an easy way to rectify the issue, otherwise I’ll just wait for Asobo to sort this mess out.
This was the first problem I encountered after update and I just smashed alt+F4 and came here. I don’t like to be too negative, but who knows what other issues I might run into after I get this first issue fixed, but the forum isn’t looking too positive in the early days since this update!

Another thing I just noticed earlier when I gave some othher stuff a try in a small test flight was:
- Single click throttle stepping now jumps 5% instead of 1%, which can make balancing torque a major issue.
- When wanting to engage AP on takeoff and needing to move the viewport first, have fun watching your aircraft fly into the floor due to control inputs from the gamepad actually freezing up and just being held at their position.
- When using the gamepad to adjust throttle mid flight with the view on any onboard buttons/touch displays, watch out that it doesn’t actually mess with those instead of the throttle.
- Flickering mouse cursor when using gamepad for yoke.
Same boat. I mainly fly airliners with some occasional VFR prop stuff when I want to relax. I noticed the same glitch too and was frustrated. I removed the controller view axis entirely like you but then realized just how much I relied on that to ensure my a/c is in the proper landing config (It’s hard to use a mouse when you need to be adjusting for pitch, yaw, and throttle on takeoff and landing). Anyhow, after doing some experimentation I discovered a solution to the problem. Let me know if it works for you. If not I can provide my controller config, but it should be the reset default for the deadzones.
Main Menus > Options > Controller Options > Sensitivity > Reset all 6 axis
Hope this helps

Thank you very much for your suggestion - I will try later and see if it (hopefully) helps the situation!
@JRobi518 - Thanks very much for your help mate - The controller sensitivity certainly was causing the problem.
I didn’t realise there was a little slider on the right which showed 2x more axis. It was one of these 2x axis which caused the mouse interruptions.
Anyway - Thanks again, and hopefully this thread can help some others in future.
