Controlling the 747 - Auto throttle engaged?

Hi,
Probably dumb question, but I have never been able to properly control the standard MSFS 747. Specifically the throttle. I use the velocity one yoke. The throttle constantly increases or decreases automatically. To the extreme, not little corrections, but HUGE adjustments. This was also the case using the xbox controller. Since day one the 747 has never worked for me. FYI I have never experienced any issues like this with any other plane that came with the game, or that I have purchased. If it is auto throttle, how do I disengage it? I’m a “light” simmer, so I hand fly my planes.

thanks. Not totally sure what you mean, but I’m guessing disconnect auto throttle.
