Controls mapping: offer to auto-calibrate sensitivity neutral point

controls mapping: offer to auto-calibrate sensitivity neutral point

reason: if the user states he performs no input any value registered must be the negative value of a neutral point.

background: my Tm Hotas Warthog requires a neutral point for the X-axis of 30 % to not have the aircraft roll to the left when performing no input. 30% however lets roll the aircraft to the right already. But i can only assign integer neutral values. (30% !!!)

Edit (complete re-write)

Not sure I 100% I understand the issue but 30% does sound way extreme.

What does your joystick output look like if you view with DIView? Is there some jitter/offset?

(Am guessing weight of metal grip on what is effectively a T16000 plastic gimbal may cause the grip to lean?)

Hi, thank you for your message!

There is no jitter and the value appears “perfectly” centered:

In DIView above and in Win game controller settings.

In the box in the bottom right of DIView the log of me moving the joystick along its x-axis is.
