ISSUE DESCRIPTION

My Single Engine Prop GA Bravo controller profile shows the Throttle is properly bound to the Bravo Throttle Quadrant (using the Assigned filter). The response curve in the controller profile is working and moves along the axis when the Bravo throttle lever is moved. When I click on Search for Input and move the throttle lever in Profile I see Throttle Axis pop up. A non-sim game controller monitor shows the proper USB signals when I move the Bravo throttle quadrant.

The profile works perfectly with most single engine Premium Deluxe planes in 2024/Beta.

The in plane throttle lever does not move when I move the Bravo lever in the C172(all variants), C152(all variants), and Cub Crafters NXCub. Deleting and rebinding the throttle lever does not improve the situation.

The Propeller and Mixture axis/levers on the Bravo Quadrant work perfectly when the Throttle lever is not working.

Shutting down the sim and restarting it sometimes resolves the problems. Other times the problem persists over multiple sim sessions and then suddenly the throttle binding starts working again.

I have never experienced this problem in the non-Beta sim.

What throttle command do you have the throttle bound to?
Does it specify engine 1?

There was in issue in fs2020 that required the use of the engine 1 command, as the plain engine command didn’t work right in a single engine aircraft.

This “could” still be an issue in 2024.

I’ve tried using Engine 1 and the plain throttle axis. When the problem is occurring - binding either one makes no difference. As I said - I can use DevMode / Tools / Aircraft selector to load a different plane and observe the throttle move in that plane. I then reload the offending plane and the throttle does not move.

I’ve been working this problem since Beta 1 and have tried every option I can imagine to make the binding work. The ONLY way to make the binding work is to close and reopen the sim. Sometimes the throttle lever in the plane will then work and many times it won’t.

I’ve gone thru a dozen sessions over several days where the C172 throttle refuses to work when every other plane using the same profile works properly. Then, new session and the C172 is working.

But, frequently I then find a different plane where the throttle doesn’t work but was working previously.

Very frustrating.
