I’ll need to go take a look at the wind/direction option in the GTN, as you say that is a good thing to have on hand.
EDIT: just did that with explainer from this post. Works nicely, useful tip thanks. I will use this.
EDIT2: If I turn ‘North Up’ ->OFF and ‘HDG Up’->ON in the GTN750 map options then the wind display tool becomes more useful. Wind direction indicator rotates with my direction now. This is very very useful for helis. Once again thank you for this suggestion. I didn’t previously know about it.
