So ive noticed, wherever iam in the game. My CPU is always yellow/red and at 32ms.
I can be at the menu after starting the game, selecting aircraft or spawning in on a Intl. Airport.
My CPU is always Yellow/Red and at 32ms.
It settles though after few minutes and goes to green.
Is this normal behaviour or is something wrong? Im just curious why my CPU is so often at Maximum performance when im not doing anything in the game.
Random thoughts here:
Is your framerate always 30 FPS? (You have frame gen on, so your true number in that screenshot is 59.6 / 2 = 29.8 FPS.
Do you have it capped at that number with NvCP?
Keep in mind that 30 FPS = 33.33333 ms frametime (always)
Your CPU is doing a lot of heavy lifting.

my framerate is 60FPS and i capped it in NvCP to 30.
Normally i would get 30fps but with Frame Gen on i get 60.
But why is my CPU always working so hard. I capped my FPS at 30 so i guess it should be less work than with true 60 FPS
MAybe just test if if you Try limiting FPS in-game instead of through NVCP.. then see the resuilts
30 FPS should certainly be less work than (true) 60 FPS.
Maybe watch this video and tweak your graphics settings to balance out your CPU/GPU load.
I found this online:
FSR 3 (FidelityFX Super Resolution 3) Frame Generation is a technology from AMD that increases frame rates by generating intermediate frames between rendered frames. It works best when interpolating from a minimum of 60 fps pre-interpolation and is not recommended for frame rates below 30 fps due to potential visual artifacts.
So you’re right on the edge by capping @ 30 FPS.
Ok so now what solved the problem:
i deactivated the Frame Cap in NvCP and now my Main Thread CPU is much more relaxed than before.
Thanks for the help! @BegottenPoet228 and @Empire9943
