Hello there,
Since a week I can not start my MSFS2024 anymore. The simulator is always loading until the sim menu and then crashes after a couple of seconds.
Yesterday I was able to start a flight with a hot air balloon, but the sim crashed after about 1min.
My setup:
CPU: Intel 13th gen I7-13700KF
RAM: 32Gb
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce 4090 (driver 576.88)
OS: Windows 11 Pro
Things I’ve tried so far:
Delete EXE-file
Delete community folder
Reinstall MSFS
Reinstall Gaming services and Xbox app
Reinstall NVIDIA drivers
Roll back NVIDIA drivers
Health check and restoration of the component store via the Windows terminal
Removed the complete operating system and installed a clean installation of Windows 11 Pro.
I was hoping today that after a complete reinstall of my PC that the problem would have been fixed, but I was unlucky.
Is there someone who could have a look at the crash reports and point me in the right direction?
Try
1 Please launch the Xbox Insider Hub app. If you don’t have it installed, download it from the Microsoft Store and install it.
2 Next, open the Xbox Insider Hub app and sign in. After you’ve logged in, restart PC.
3 After your PC restarts, open the Xbox Insider Hub app again and check if you have joined the PC Gaming Preview.
Click Previews
Check if you have joined the PC Gaming Preview.
If you have joined, click PC Gaming → Manage
and then click Leave preview and click continue.
After clicking Leave preview → continue, wait until the status changes from Pending to Join.
Restart PC
4 After your PC restarts, open the Xbox app and wait for Gaming Services to install.
5 After Gaming Services has installed, launch MSFS 2024
Thanks for your answer!
The Xbox Insider Hub was not installed, so I downloaded it.
It seemed that I did not join the PC Gaming Preview, so I joined, did a restart of my PC and then continued with your steps (leaving the preview)
When I opened the Xbox app, the app was not installing the Gaming Services. Not sure what to do next, I launched MSFS, which crashed again at the sim menu .
Hello,
I have exactly the same problem, since few days, the game crashes just after the little window when you launch it, displaying approx the same errors.
Additionally here is my crashreport:

Open Xbox app
Click your Gamertag (nick name)
Select settings → about
Take a screenshot and attach in your reply.
Open Xbox Insider Hub app and click on Previews.
Then, scroll all the way down so that we can see which previews you’ve joined.
Take a screenshot of that section and attach it in your reply.
Uninstall Gaming Services, then restart PC.
After the reboot, open the Xbox app and wait - Gaming Services should reinstall automatically.
Once it’s fully installed, try launching MSFS 2024 again.
Didn’t help, I had again a CTD once the sim menu opens.
Could you please attach a .txt file containing your DxDiag report in your reply? You can find instructions on how to generate the report in the link below:
How to create a DxDiag report
Start by downloading and updating BIOS - version you have is from November 2022.
Alright!
I just left home for a vacation of 10 days! I will come back with the results as soon as possible!
Thanks for your support so far!

I have the same Problem since Saturday. On Monday everything was fine and works and today is broken again. Maybe a problem withe the gaming services app? It’s the only thing that updatet several times the last days.
I’m thinking that gaming services is broken because both MSFS2020 and 2024 are doing the same thing
Open the Xbox app.
Then go to the app’s Settings and click on About.
Take a screenshot of that window and include it in your reply.
Next, open the Xbox Insider Hub app.
Click on Previews, then scroll down so the Joined section is visible.
Take a screenshot of that screen as well and attach it to your reply.
Enjoy your vacation. Take your time and don’t worry about it until you’re back.

Curious if you have any recommendations, having the same problem.
DxDiag.txt (89.8 KB)
Make sure the Xbox app is not running in the background. If it is, close it completely.
Also, check if the Xbox app process is running in the background - open Task Manager and look for any “Xbox” or related processes. If you find any, kill them manually.
Once you’re sure it’s not running, uninstall Gaming Services.
After that, launch the Xbox app again and wait for Gaming Services to reinstall automatically.
Once that’s done, try launching MSFS 2024.
