Brief description of the issue:
I’m having a lot of issues with MSF2020. It took almost 6-7 hours to download and install. Once the game installed I was able to start the game however I received the following message of “you may experience problems as your computer does not meet the minimum requirements”. I’ve checked several times and the computer looks like it does meet the requirements needed. Additionally, when the game launches, it automatically goes to the new world update screen and the shuts down halfway through.

Does anyone have any recommendations? This is getting really frustrating and trying to get in touch with support seems pretty impossible.

Any help would be much much much appreciated!

AMD-A6 with Radeon HD does not meet minimum requirements.

For an AMD system, you must be at least a Ryzen 3 1200 with an 2GB dedicated GPU card or better.

Realistically, that low-end specification of Ryzen 3 with 2GB VRAM won’t really cut it, even at all Low.

What you really need is at the minimum a Ryzen 5 with an 8GB VRAM dedicated card and 16GB system RAM.

Got it, now it all makes sense.

Any suggestions to upgrade the AMD? Is there even a way to do so or would it be getting a new computer?

It all depends, you’ll need to do a bit of research to find out what kind of motherboard you have, but generally I don’t think an AMD A6 mobo will take the new Ryzen CPUs.

Ideally, if it could, you would just need to upgrade the CPU and get a dedicated video card. This assumes your Power Supply has enough headroom to accommodate the newer hardware which is a bit more power hungry.

You may find it’s cost-effective (and mindful of your time, and comfort of upgrading hardware on your own), to just get a new box.

This is a quick and easy command, doesn’t require downloading any executables, you run it directly from the command prompt in Windows. It returns the manufacturer and model name, number of your Motherboard. From there, you can search for CPU upgrades suitable to that type.

Got it, appreciate the help
