Crash with Pilatus PC-12 and PC-24 avionics

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue:

The program MSFS 2024 on PS5 crashes completely so that I have to close it and restart from scratch wasting everything done up to that moment of course.

This problem was happening since the release of MSFS2024 on PS5 both on Pilatus PC-12 and now (June 2026) after I bought the Pilatus PC-24.

How this happens:

  • the problem in my cases is when you use the MFD avionics system and you manage to change the flight plan initially loaded, like for example changing the arrival procedure (like the crash I shared in the media section) or doing other changes like creating a HOLD at a waypoint or amending the route and so on
  • in summary when you do changes and then pressing ACTIVATE or CANCEL

FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

How often does this occur for you (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently)?

It’s difficult to tell how to reproduce because it depends on how many changes you do on the flight plan. For sure I think it’s dependent on the numbers of changes. Few changes usually nothing happens, more changes like 10 or something pressing several options in the menu of the waypoints and the chance to getting crashed increase.

REPRODUCTION STEPS

Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:

  1. In my case I was flying from IBZ (Ibiza) to Gibraltar airport.

  2. See the video. Of course the last frame is where the program crashed. So if you look before that I was just using the menus to change the approach.

  3. If you try playing with the avionics like pressing skip way point, press the waypoint, choose from list, go back, go ahead, for some minutes… Sooner or later the crash happens.
