Crashes with fenix a320 SCEP certificate problem

Hello all, I’ve been having multiple crashes to full system shutdown (not CTD) consistently with the Fenix a320. This airplane had previously worked well for years. Fenix seems unable to help, event viewer gives me this:
SCEP Certificate enrollment initialization for Local system via https://AMD-KeyId-907d65e9b562315997dd5ad086b2b7598957b92c.microsoftaik.azure.net/templates/Aik/scep failed:

I have updated my AMD chipset drivers. Still having crashes. Very sad as I was enjoying this plane, and now it is unusable. Windows is up to date, as is msfs.

System:
AMD Ryzen 3700X
GPU AMD Radeon 5700XT
16GB RAM

Thanks for any help.

Have you tried updating your motherboard BIOS?

A quick google search of the error combined with MSFS yielded this.

Hi, I had the same error on my Windows 11 machine with Ryzen 5 3600 & AsRock X570 Phantom Gaming.

My PC started to crash multiple times a day after I installed and started to play MS Flight Simulator for some reason, never happened before

Upgrading the BIOS to the latest version fixed this incredibly annoying issue for me too. Thanks for sharing your solution!

Hello, yes just updated my BIOS yesterday. Still having crashes. So frustrating, it’s always “event ID 86”, SCEP Certificate enrollment initialization failed
