Create custom Display settings

I have a need to modify the Display settings in MSFS 2024 when I have a triple monitor in surround setting. The options both on the graphic card and MSFS 2024 are from preset drop down menu. Because if the monitor size (800 mm), the bottom of image falls below the bottom of screen.
Wish to be able to edit the Display settings in MSFS 2024
Thank You

A screenshot of what you are seeing would help the devs here, I think. :slightly_smiling_face:

Thank you for the reply. I don’t think I have the technical skills to take a screen shot across the three screens (2.1 meters wide)
If you imagine the word ESC and place it at the bottom of the screen with only the top of letters showing. I feel if the vertical setting was somewhere between the current setting of 1440 and maybe 1420, it should fix it. Having the option to create a custom setting in MSFS 2024, would enable me to determine how many pixels I need to shrink the vertical setting.
I guess it would be different, depending on the size of the monitor.
Hope this helps

I suspect you may be having the same issue as is reported in this bug report:

with is now bug-logged , so hopefully we may see this fixed in a future SU (it’s not included in SU1 AFAIK).

Thank you, I will wait until there is a development. As a user it is not critical as I can just see enough of the command to use.
Thank you for your consideration.

*t appears the situation has worsened in that when in surround mode, MSFS is defaulting to full screen and the “ESC” option doesn’t work.
Because of this, there is no way to exit once we start flying. There are no drop down menus and no response from any key press. Even crashing the plane does not give an exit option. Power off is the only way to exit.
Would appreciate your comments on what exit option is available in full screen mode. Once the surround screen is activated, changing the display to Widowed mode is not an option.
The three screen option is wonderful and I still wish to use it.
I need some guidance from Microsoft on this.
Thank you

Hi @NGSmith1942

I feel your problem but from my personal experience i use a different way as i use different size of monitors 9 in total plus another one from laptop as 10 screen

In usercfg.opt you can set a reolution u want, on fullscreen sometimes it fall back to 3840x 1024 for me but i leave the tickbox read only unselected. I dont mind editing it back to 5160x1024
On the other hand when iin windowed mode it stays where i put it even with a bit of oversize
To get rid of the framework of the window.

I hope this works for you as a workaround
