Creating Plans to practice Instrument Approaches and landing

I’m looking to see if there is an easy-ish way to create an Instrument plan to practice ILS and RNAV approaches. I have the Aircraft handling skills, want to create some plans to just practice the finer points of RNAV - ILS approach transitions and assorted other more advanced instrument flight skills without creating and flying the whole end to end route. Any advice / guidance on the matter?

Thank You, this looks to be exactly the tool I was thinking of. Good to se it does exist! :+1:

Could try doing it the way we do it in real life.

Select the airport you want to practice at. Depart from that airport and fly to the approach fix. Shoot the approach. Follow the go around on the chart and do it again. When you have had your fill, follow the approach to the ground and taxi in.

Might not be the click and fly you were looking for but you will gain a lot more from your practice. You will be significantly more busy and the procedures/flow will become second nature much quicker.

It’s a great little tool for just practicing approaches without the hassle of flying out and setting yourself up for an approach.

Yes it is! I have used it several times since buying it and it gets me just the setup I was looking for. I’ve noticed a couple of oddities, but need to play with it more to better understand what was going on.

The developer is very responsive, so any issues let him know.
