Hi Guys
i Simply cant start the APU when i select cold and dark from the Tablet. Yes ive read the Manual and yes ive watched many Tutorials but its not working. Im Sure its a bug at this Point?
Not a bug as it seems to work for everyone else…
BAT on, APU on, wait 30 seconds, APU start, wait 2 minutes.

This is going to sound silly but, have you confirmed you have fuel onboard?
Yes there is alot Fuel on Board. Im sure the Problem is on my end but i dont know what the hell is going on. Im trying since Hours now. Can i feed the APU with Fuel separately?
Try turning your 3A Hydraulics on. The valve needs juice to open
Maybe you have a keybind that is interfering?
@AwesomeBlack533 Fairly certain I don’t bother with hydraulics and have no issue starting up.
@OnlyWheel864461 Something about this definitely doesn’t look right. When you engage the APU power - the first button - you should see an “APU IN BITE” message or similar, which isn’t appearing. For what it’s worth you do not need the main engine boost pumps on to start the APU, though I’m not sure if that is the issue here.
Rather than clicking the top-most button the EFB for Cold & Dark, what if you change the default state (bottom button) to Cold & Dark, and restart? See what happens.

The Bottom Button for cold and dark? Im sorry i dont know exactly what you mean?
Usually i start “cold and dark” when i select a parking Gate in the MSFS Menu. If i do so the APU is working fine but the CRJ isnt “cold and dark”.
EDIT Okay i know what you mean now. It works now. First button isnt working. Looks like a bug. Thank you!
It’s a bug, i confirme, i had the same situation (cold and dark from the biggining), and after many and many modifications with tablet and restart, everything was back to normal !! And never dysfonctionning again

I don’t know really, it was a long time, but what i remember is that the solution appear itself alter many try with différent tablet (airplane one) configuration and not only « cold & dark »… like a unlocking …
I remember spend a full day.
A question for you on this thread, is icing working for you on the CRJs? I am getting no icing whatsoever on any of them. I disabled / re-enabled icing, but nothing.
