So I’m thinking of getting the new CRJ.
How is it compared to the FBW A320 as far as exterior and interior textures go?
Also, how is the performance compared to FBW A320?

… apart from getting a 3090, you’ve got absolute top of the line specs. How insecure are you about your performance?

Get it, I don’t think you need to compare it with the A320NX

Because even with the 3080 i get avg. of 40-50 fps with the A320 and some minor stutters.
I want to make sure the CRJ is not going to send me into low 30’s or even high 20’s fps.

I don’t notice any sort of large performance hit when in the CRJ.
As for textures, there’s plenty of screenshots. In my opinion it’s just fine. The important stuff is crisp and legible and it has detail where it counts. It might could be slightly better but I’d rather preserve performance than be able to see lint on the floor.
If you ask me, it looks TOO good. There aren’t any scuff marks from regional pilots sticking their feet up.

I have noticed a 10-15 FPS drop with the CRJ. You should at least get 35+ FPS with the new NVIDIA drivers. I am also not too worried about the FPS because fixes and updates with Asobo and Aerosoft will improve that over time.

I haven’t noticed any performance decrease
I have almost same FPS with CRJ and A32NX, some times CRJ have more FPS
The textures on the CRJ aren’t bad, but they are not at the same level of the A32NX or most of the other planes I’ve flown in FS2020 (including both default and third-party).
Have flown both. Both good. Both similar performance.

I have the CRJ , and use Ultra . Right now I am going over the manuals and working on some training so I keep the same routes from Chicago to Muskegon and its honestly been super smooth . Using the Drone Cams to set my cabin views - its worth it . And its alot of fun since the models never same with auto-throttle.
You mean the CRJ textures are worse or better than the fbw A320?

CRJ textures are worse than the A32NX. They are still good, but are noticeably lower resolution than cockpit textures in most of the other planes I fly.

FPS in the CRJ is fine…until the avionics power up. Literally, 10-15 FPS drop when all systems are up and running.
To me, the A32NX is much more fun to fly, and with the Custom A32NX version, performance is much better. Admittedly I can’t fly much due to the last update performance issues. The EFB in the CRJ is much better than the one in the A32NX, but hey the 320 is free.
I don’t notice a difference actually…
