The Crystal Super started shipping and some people should have gotten it by now, looking forward to user reviews and questions or problems.

I was wavering between the Pimax Super QLED and the upcoming Pimax OLED Dream Air (I currently have a Crystal OG).
As I expected, the Dream Air launch has been delayed to probably Q4 this year and maybe later.
Revues of the Pimax Super have been very good (slight mura with the panels aside).
That and the lower brightness of OLEDs, especially when coupled with pancake lenses, convinced me to go with the Pimax Super 50 PPD QLED, with its brighter panels and much larger horizontal FOV of around 126 degrees. Ordered mine today. Hopefully delivery in mid June.

I ordered mine today as well, although I’d be both surprised and impressed if it arrived mid-June. Given my expirence getting the Crystal light, and the seemingly slow delivery of Supers so far, I’d be thinking end of July is probably a more realistic timeframe. Very happy to be wrong on this one.
Does the super have eye tracking?
Yes, the Super has eye tracking.
Yeah, one never knows with Pimax. Then again, my pre-ordered Crystal OG shipped pretty quickly once they started deliveries. Glad I’m in Oz and not the US, what with all the tariff confusion there.

I’ll soon need a new headset, G2 is playing up a bit now and its coming to end of life soon anyway.
But these Pimax headsets are part subscription, I know its only for 24 months but what’s to stop them changing their minds and in a couple of years saying you now need to carry on the subscription if you want to keep it? Just like Y-Cam did a few years ago, it was plastered all ove the box that cloud storage was free for ever but then started charging for it or cutting you off.
I’ve even got a screenshot from Octopus that state they will NEVER charge more for non direct debit yet 12 months later I now have to pay a higher rate for non direct debit payments. when I asked them how so they just said they changed their mind.
How can we trust them?
You can pay all the price in one shot if you don’t like this “subscription” model.
I’m debating ordering the Super but will hold off until I see reviews from real customers rather the youtubers.
