CTD after "Apply to All Aircraft" in the Controller menu

Description of the issue:
After applying the “Apply to all Aircraft” in the Controller menu. The system CTD.

Did you experience this issue before you joined the Beta?
I noticed this also in the SU1 Beta and SU1. Unfortunately it appears also in the SU2 beta.

FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

How often does this occur for you (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently)?
It happens all the time. Everytime!

REPRODUCTION STEPS

Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:

  1. Go to the controller settings. Apply a profile.
  2. Not specifically necessary but choose for “Set as Default”.
  3. Now select the “Apply to all Aircraft”’ the sim CTD.

This issue only started when I applied the update to the SU2 BETA 2 on March 27. If I revert out of the BETA, it still happens now. (However it did not happen when I was out of the BETA before I joined the latest BETA).

In other words, I can no longer apply any profile to all aircraft. No profile whatsoever will save to all aircraft.
Also, I have nothing in 2024 community.

I have the same issue. I was in the SU 2 beta, encountered the CTD while trying to apply a profile to all aircraft. I have left the beta and re-installed the sim and the same issue is still occurring. Clearly some remnants of the beta are still present even after leaving.

With me this problem already started with SU1 (Incl the Beta) and still ruins a lot with SU2 (Beta). Let hope they fix it soon :wink:

My system doesn’t generate a fault bucket, There is no related Event ID 1001. Only the ID 1000 Application Error, shown in the screenshot.

This is still a thing in .13 of the beta.

This bug even made it into the full release of SU2 despite being reported almost two months ago.

Description of the issue:

Every time I click “Apply to all aircraft” for a Mouse Control Profile MSFS will CTD. I created a new General Mouse profile by duplicating the default profile > renamed the profile > changed the External View directions > Applied to All aircraft.
• I had a CTD when I renamed the new Profile.
• Next, with the C172 aircraft selected, when I selected “Apply to all aircraft” it caused a CTD. Upon returning, the selected profile was not applied.
• Attempting again with the same configuration resulted in another CTD.
• I selected a different General Mouse profile I have previously used, clicked “Apply to all aircraft” which caused another CTD.
• I selected a helicopter and then tried “Apply to all aircraft” for the same General Mouse Profile and again it caused a CTD.

  1. Duplicate the default Mouse Profile
  2. Rename the new Mouse Profile (One CTD)
  3. Change the External View Look directions to be the opposite of default.
  4. Select Apply to All Aircraft (Three CTDs)

I’ll second that. Had several crashes manipulating the controls Menu. Set to Default I believe triggered the issue on occasion too. The whole Controls section loads really slowly. when choosing Set as Default it often doesn’t and apply to All on the General vs Aircraft for a controller profile has CTD repeatedly.
